Four Wheeling
Select areas of Utah and Arizona

Four wheeling.  This is something that's been typically done only as a means of access to either a climbing area or some remote canyon.  As of late, we've been doing more off roading simply for it's own challenge.  Some of the toughest trails in the state are merely an hour east of Phoenix area off of US60.  Our own excursions run near the towns of Superior, Sedona, Payson and others and get into the surrounding beautiful back country.

We do not offer guided trips although we do encourage others to accompany us on our trips.  Tours are in your own vehicles and usually in trails maneuverable in stock 4x4s.

Hackberry Creek - A good challenge for a stock 4x4.  This is a 12 mile loop often complete counterclockwise.  Best left for the cooler months since this is in the desert.  The trail starts out with large rocks and some tricky manouvers in and out of the streambed.  The stream is typically dry.  There is one really washed section that will take a spotter to keep track of your movement.  Easier to go down this (hence going counterclockwise) than up.  A few bumper and lower body panel dents are unavoidable

Sunflower mine - Great trail and easily done in stock 4x4.  However be prepared for a few possible scratches and dents.  This travels a well marked mining road and is smooth for a majority of the trail.  There are but a few rock obstacles and some deep ruts which are all easy to drive around or over.  The old sunflower mine's condition has deteriorated over the years due to people intentionally trashing the place. Apparently this was one of several mercury mines scattered around the mountains.  There is another mine shaft you'll pass as you continue along the trail.

Moab Area, Utah - A zillion trails from easy dirt roads to white knucking the largest obstacles you've ever seen .
